Customers own (or must have rights to) the files they store. File Orbit hosts copies customers place on File Orbit Cloud. We are not the author of customer libraries.

Copyright complaints about File Orbit Cloud may be sent to:

What to include in a notice
To help us act, include:
- Your contact name, address, phone, and email.
- Description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Description of the material on File Orbit Cloud and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (account handle or DID, path, share link, or similar).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@fileorbit.cloud including your contact information, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or for the operator's principal place of business if outside the United States), and your signature.
We may forward counter-notices to the complainant and may restore material when the law allows.
Repeat infringement
We may terminate Cloud accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
